INTERNATIONAL inspiration is at the heart of the latest NPD roll out from Kettle Chips.
The crisp brand has launched a new Thai Sweet Chilli variant, which rolled out to multiples last month.
Kettle Chips head of innovation, chef Phil Hovey, said the new flavour is made using real food ingredients often found in authentic Thai cooking.
Hovey said: “We are extremely excited to be launching this Thai Sweet Chilli variety, featuring iconic Thai ingredients with real depth and interest that take consumers on a flavour journey unlike any other.
“The new SKU combines the perfect blend of Thai spices, bringing spikes of soy, star anise and coriander, complemented with bold chilli and an underlying sweetness to offer a delicate balance of this complex mix of flavourings.”
Support for the new variant will come in the shape of a nationwide marketing campaign.
Scheduled to run later this year, the campaign will include TV idents as well as social media and PR activity.
