CERTAS Energy has named Spar as its convenience partner across all 35 of its UK company-owned filling stations.
The deal, which includes wholesale distribution, is effective immediately. Store refurbishments and rebranding will take place over the next few months.
Mike Leonard, sales director at Spar Scotland wholesaler CJ Lang commented: “Certas Energy will bring in an additional 23 forecourts into Spar Scotland.
“We had successfully traded Certas sites in Nairn and Forfar over a number of years, clearly demonstrating over this time the added value CJ Lang delivered by way of our best in class distribution service, chilled range, and the ability to single pick selected lines.”
Richard Billington, retail director at Certas Energy, said that the firm was impressed by Spar’s “commitment to our business, its technical expertise, resources and the on the ground support.”
