BURTON upon Trent might not be the biggest town in the country, but it is the home of one of the UK’s biggest beers: Carling.
The firm has now released a major new advertising campaign, inspired by Burton upon Trent, that celebrates ‘regional’ towns across the UK.
‘Made Local’ features two core adverts that champion towns that are often misjudged or overlooked, celebrating the good work that goes on there.
Carling has also committed to a multi-million pound investment in community projects over the next three years through its Made Local Fund.
Anyone can apply for funding for projects that “make a positive impact on the local community, are inherently sociable and bring people together, support long-term, sustainable projects and are at a grassroots, not-for-profit level.”
