THE biggest night of the year for the Scottish convenience retailing industry, the Scottish Grocer Awards, is just a few weeks away and there are plenty of reasons to get excited for this year’s event.
Leading the proceedings on 7 March, quiz show host extraordinaire Alex Armstrong will bring his talents to the Glasgow Hilton for what’s sure to be a night to remember. Entertaining the nation on a nightly basis as the host of BBC One’s Pointless, Armstrong brings a wealth of talent to the Scottish Grocer stage, having enjoyed cross genre success from the BAFTA award winning The Armstrong and Miller Show to stints on global hits including Doctor Who and Peppa Pig.
Armstrong will not be the only star in attendance, as the best and brightest in Scottish retail gather to celebrate excellence in the industry.
