Vaping profitability confirmed

IN further proof of the sales opportunity that vaping provides, Scottish firm Vaporized has ranked as Scotland’s fastest growing private business in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Top 100.

Vaporized, the UK’s largest vaping retailer, has seen a massive 97% growth over the last three years.

After only starting in 2012 with a single store in Leith, the firm now has over 110 stores throughout the country-recently announcing plans to grow to 300 UK High Street stores by 2021.

Doug Mutter, director of Vaporized, said that vaping  represented “a huge public health opportunity” and that he expected the market to continue to grow as smokers used it to help quit smoking.

The other Scottish firm on the list, Brewdog, came in at number 71 on the list, down from its number 62 spot in 2017.
