HOLIDAYS are coming to Silverburn in Glasgow this weekend as Coca-Cola kicks off its countdown to Christmas tour with the return of its festive truck.
Now in its eighth year, the 2018 tour will get underway at Glasgow Silverburn shopping centre over 9-10 November before visiting 14 towns and cities across the UK before reaching its final stop in London on 16 December.
Visitors to the truck will be offered 150ml cans of Coca-Cola zero sugar, Diet Coke or Coca-Cola original which they will then be encouraged to recycle as part of Coca-Cola’s World Without Waste pledge.
Alec Mellor, marketing manager for Coca-Cola Great Britain said: “Christmas is all about sharing the festive goodwill with friends and loved ones — and we can’t wait to start spreading holiday cheer across the UK with the return of our iconic red truck.
“We’re excited to announce a brand-new route for 2018, which brings a sprinkling of festive magic to our fans, alongside an important message encouraging more people to recycle on the go.”
