NATIONAL Lottery operator Camelot has unveiled changes to both Lotto and Euromillions, as well as a new draw game scheduled to launch in 2019.
Changes to Lotto include new, larger fixed cash prices, including a fixed prize of £1m for matching five balls plus the bonus ball.
The Lotto jackpot will now only be allowed to roll over five times, with a new ‘Rolldown’ mechanic sharing the jackpot across all winning cash prize tiers if no one matches six numbers in a ‘must-be-won’ draw.
Camelot will also run more special draws in which multiple guaranteed UK millionaires will be created.
And, subject to regulatory approval, Camelot will launch a new annuity game in 2019, with a top prize of thousands of pounds each month for a minimum of 25 years.
