A high-protein, low-calorie ice cream firm has expanded its UK operation by adding an additional three flavours to its portfolio.

First launched in the US in 2011, Halo Top aims to bring something new to the ice-cream market by providing only 280-360 calories per tub.

The brand was first launched in the UK in  January, and the firm said it has proved popular enough to justify adding three new flavours to the range: Birthday Cake, Red Velvet and Oatmeal Cookie.

Doug Bouton, COO & President said: “The only reason that we’re able to launch more flavours so soon after our initial launch is because of our incredible UK fans, and we think giving them three more flavours to enjoy this summer is the perfect way to say thanks.”
