American golf champion Cristie Kerr has become the newest partner of Loch Lomond Whiskies, official spirit of The Open and the Women’s British Open.
As well as a successful golf career, with two majors under her belt, Cristie owns her own wine company and has a specialist qualification in wine tasting.
She said: “Having travelled to Scotland on a number of occasions I know that the whiskies on offer – just like the golf – are amongst the finest in the world.
“I’m incredibly excited about the partnership and am looking forward to spreading the word of Loch Lomond Whiskies around the world.”
Colin Matthews, CEO of Loch Lomond Group, said: “We are very proud to be associated with Cristie as our first ambassador in women’s golf.
“We hope that this association will demonstrate both our enthusiasm for the future of the women’s game as well as our ambition to introduce our diverse award-winning Scotch whisky brands to many new consumers to enjoy.”
Cristie joins fellow professionals Colin Montgomerie and Paul Lawrie as brand ambassadors.
