SYMINGTON’S, the firm behind pot snack brand Naked Noodle continues to ramp up its NPD with another flurry of new flavours coming to market.
The latest batch of NPD sees Symington’s expand its Big Eat Noodle Pots range, now available in four flavours: Singapore, Green Thai, Mee Goreng and Chicken Penang.
Each pot is one third larger than a standard Naked Noodle pot, with an RRP of £1.49.
Symington’s snacking boss Mike Benton said the firm has been working to keep on top of the lunch-to-go market. He said: “Brands must stay relevant and exciting in order to stand out so we’ve invested heavily in NPD for Naked Noodle.”
Benton also highlighted the firm’s increasing activity in the free from category, where he said free-from pot snack brand Ilumi has been making strides.
“Using a rice noodle, Ilumi has a range of authentic Asian inspired snack pots, offering consumers a healthy and convenient option which is fat free and packed full of flavour.
“The product is available in four flavours: Singapore Rice Noodle Snack Pot, Tom Yum Rice Noodle Pot, Vietnamese Beef Pho Rice Noodle Pot and Sweet Chilli Rice Noodle Pot.”
