MEATSNACKS Group has been gearing up for the New Year by enhancing the recipe and revamping the packaging of its jerky range.
The overhauled Wild West range includes an enhanced beef jerky recipe which the firm reckons makes its product softer and tastier while retaining its flavour, new product development in the shape of salmon jerky and chicken jerky, with more NPD said to be in the pipeline for the year ahead.
A spokesperson said: “Trends in snacking suggest that jerky and biltong will be well placed to drive long-term category value for retailers, fitting with the shift toward health and wellness.”
