ROLLING out just in time for barbecue season, Heineken UK has released two new SKUs for Mexican beer brand Sol.
The Latin American lager is now available in a 330ml can and a 650ml bottle.
The new 330ml can is available in a four pack with an RRP of £4.50, while the 650ml bottle has an RRP of £2.
Toby Lancaster, category and shopper marketing director at Heineken, said: “Shoppers will be looking for chilled beers ready for that summer get-together or impromptu big night in with friends.
“The new formats are perfect for sharing on these occasions throughout the summer months.
“The new slim design will also be sure to catch your shoppers’ attention as well as maximising space.
“We recommend keeping these in the chiller, and to drive sales, you could cross-promote with BBQ food or sharing bags of tortilla crisps that play on Sol’s Mexican heritage.”
