BEER and wine importer Morgenrot is to start bringing products from Barcelona-based brewery BeerCat into the UK.
The new agreement will see Morgenrot introduce the craft brewer’s range to the UK off-trade, initially with the launch of three products; the 5% ABV Barcelona Blonde, the 4.2% La Masia and the 6.3% Further Westward.
All three will be available in cases of 24 33cl bottles.
Morgenrot’s commercial director John Critchley said: “Our Spanish beer stable is a growing and profitable category for our company so we are delighted to strengthen it with the arrival of these special beers.
“The beers have heaps of flavour and, with the Spanish and craft beer scenes continuing to trend, we’re confident operators and consumers alike will appreciate the all-round quality of these remarkable beers.”
