AHEAD of the Christmas and New Year season cider brand Blackthorn has launched two new variants in the impulse channel.
With new Blackthorn Dark Fruit (ABV 4%) and Blackthorn Super (ABV 7.5%), owner C&C says it is extending the range into sub-categories that are new for the brand.
The firm says the dark fruit cider sub-category is currently worth £28m to the impulse channel and takes 8% of category value sales.
