SYMBOL operation Costcutter Supermarkets Group reckons it’s punching above its digital communications weight to the benefit of its retailers.

The firm says its latest YouTube video advert, featuring a space invaders game, returned more than twice the average engagement levels for the online videos channel.
And Costcutter said its proximity marketing to mobile phones, its retailer social media training programme and increasing digital advertising had all increased consumer engagement.
