PREMIER Foods plans to harness the power of protein and thicken things up as it gears up for the winter soup season.
It reckons its new Batchelors High Protein Cup a Soup is a category first. It is introducing four Tomato Plus lines to its Deliciously Thick Cup a Soup portfolio. And it’s also reformulating recipes in its main Cup a Soup range from next month.
Senior brand manager Antonia Goldring said: “Our new High Protein range has 20% of its calorie content derived from protein, so is a great step towards targeting the younger generation who are becoming increasingly health-conscious.
