RETAILERS concerned by the implications of EUTPD legislation for e-cigarettes can look to a new guide for advice.
Launched by e-cigarette brand Blu, the guide tells retailers how they can prepare for the changes, and make the most of the opportunities that they could present.
Jenni Roberts, VP customer marketing at Blu (UK), said: “It is estimated that around a third of e-cigarette sales go through traditional retail, and two thirds sold online and in vape shops, but things will change over the next 12-18 months.
“This presents a huge opportunity for convenience retailers to attract new customers by highlighting their e-cig range and improving their category understanding, which is what our new guides are designed to help with, in a simple and digestible format.”
Guides are being made available to retailers through Imperial Tobacco representatives.
