Unilever UK has launched a £1.6m Christmas marketing campaign to support its latest innovation, Stork with Butter.
The campaign includes a new TV advert that depicts the baking of two Rudolph cakes – one using Stork with Butter and the other using conventional block butter, designed to show how easy it is to bake using Stork with Butter.
Unilever UK says Stork with Butter has performed exceptionally well since the product launched in May, selling almost 1m units in its first six months.
Rhiannon Carr, brand manager for Stork at Unilever UK, said: “We’re very excited to launch our Christmas campaign promoting the latest addition to the Stork range, Stork with Butter, through our brand new TV advert.
“It communicates to consumers that ‘Every Cakes A Winner’ when you use Stork with Butter, creating light, fluffy cakes with rich, creamy icings and a buttery taste every time.”
The Christmas campaign will also be supported by digital display, VOD and sponsored social media activity including Facebook.
Stork with Butter is available in 400g tub format with an RRP of £1.99 and in retail cases of 16.
