Northern Ireland-based Irwin’s Bakery has spent £40,000 to rebrand its Howell’s Handmade range of cakes and biscuits.
The project included the purchase of a labelling machine, renames the range as Howell’s and introduces eight new lines of biscuits, cakes and cupcakes.
Director of sales John Hopkins said: “The new machinery means we can comfortably meet demand in the run up to the busy festive period and explore other business opportunities .”
The new Howell’s range (RRP £2) includes Raspberry Marble Cake, Lemon Drizzle Cake, Chocolate Fudge Cake, and Raspberry & White Chocolate Biscuits.
