HOT dog manufacturer Rollover has launched a limited-edition curry sauce.
Rollover sells 25m hot dogs a year across the UK and sales and marketing director Tony Owen suggests the new sauce will offer consumers an interesting adaptation to their hot dog and create a talking point.
He said: “Rollover Curry Sauce is mildly spiced to suit most palates and builds from the success of curry sauce in the takeaway arena, where curry sauce has actually overtaken ketchup as a topping for chips.”
Each case of six sauces comes with a merchandising display stand as well as a supply of materials such as posters and wobblers.
Owen said: “We’ve been working on a limited-edition sauce that we think will really resonate well with consumers.
“We wanted to make an impact in store and have created some bold point of sale to launch the curry sauce product.
“It looks and tastes really great and we think it will be really popular with consumers, as well as drive sales for the retailers.”
Rollover recommends pairing the sauce with its Chilli Hot Dog which Owen said gives consumers: “A great option to spice up their hot dog even more.”
