Sugar cut as raspberry hits the UK

LiptonLIPTON has reduced the sugar content of all of its ice teas by 30%meaning that every 500ml bottle now contains less that 100 calories.
And just in time for summer, it has brought its raspberry flavour to the UK.
A spokesperson said: “Raspberry is the number three SKU globally for the brand – with sales of iced tea and coffee up 30.7% year on year and with a current value of £68m.
“Lipton Raspberry Ice Tea is aimed at grown-up taste buds and will unlock further sales for retailers over the summer months.”
The range has also been given a new look for 2015 including a new bottle shape and sleeved label.
All Lipton Ice Tea flavours have an RRP of £1.13 and are available in 500ml PMPs.
