IRN-BRU has returned to the small screen with the latest two ads in its Gets You Through campaign.
The commercials premiere at the start of this month and will run for three months as part of AG Barr’s £6m marketing work on the brand in 2015.
Head of marketing Adrian Troy said: “Gets You Through has been a phenomenal success, driving consistent consumer awareness and demand and increasing retailer sales.
“The commercials reflect the cheeky, maverick attitude for which Irn-Bru is loved.
“The success of the Gets You Through campaign is reflected in the fact that it has generated over 10m YouTube views.
“It has also contributed to a phenomenal increase in brand loyalty of 71%, with three in four 16 to 24-year-old Scots drinking Irn-Bru after the campaign aired on TV. Irn-Bru is the brand that one in two Scots drink most often.”
The campaign backs all the Irn-Bru lines.
“Retailers are advised not to under-estimate the importance of Irn-Bru Sugar Free, which is Scotland’s number one low-calorie flavoured carbonate, delivering retailer sales of more than £1 million every week,” said Troy.
