UNILEVER UK has introduced a new Sausage Casserole flavour of Pot Noodle.
The firm says the new line will help retailers take advantage of what it sees as a trend towards traditional flavours and comfort foods.
Monique Rossi, Pot Noodle marketing manager at Unilever UK, said taste and convenience are very important to shoppers for hot snacks. “By launching a classic, flavoursome variant into our portfolio, we’re appealing to both male and female consumers who are looking for a satisfyingly simple snack with excellent taste credentials,” she said.
The launch of Pot Noodle Sausage Casserole is supported by a £3m marketing campaign for 2015, including TV advertising, digital activity and out-of-home ads .
