After a successful 2014 for Nicky with the brand’s toilet tissue range registering a +20.3% growth over the previous year*, in 2015 Nicky is to celebrate its 10th Anniversary in the UK market. Nicky has launched the new Nicky Elite Toilet Tissue, a better, improved product which offers customers a longer roll and a new unique embossing.
“The decision to add 10 extra free sheets per roll,” says Giorgio Garzelli, business director for Nicky “is in countertrend in the toilet tissue market today. We are witnessing an overall drop of quality in major brands and private label paper products, but Nicky has decided to continue its tradition of focusing on innovation. Our goal is to increase value for money for our customers. “Nicky has proven to be the only brand able to offer retailers and customers a valid alternative to the discounters’ good quality and good value for money own label products.”
“Our plan for 2015 is to invest on innovations that improve the products’ quality and quantity throughout the range, not just on toilet tissue. The new Nicky Elite is the first step but we will soon announce new changes on some other Nicky products.”
