Adding a taste of Scotland

MACKIE’S has added two new flavours to its ridge cut crisps portfolio following limited-edition releases.

The company says the Whisky and Haggis and Venison and Cranberry flavours were launched to add a Scottish twist to the range.

Managing director George Taylor said: “We have been delighted with the response. So much so it just didn’t make sense for them only to be limited editions.

“The Mackie’s brand was already renowned for distinctively Scottish flavours in its core range including Haggis & Cracked Black Pepper and Flame grilled Aberdeen Angus.

“Flavour innovation has always been a USP for Mackie’s and it’s great to continue to get such positive feedback on our unique Scottish seasonings.”

As well as sales and listings in the UK, Mackie’s is reporting high demand for the two new flavours in export markets and has already supplied the products to its distributors in Germany, The Netherlands and Canada.
