RITMEESTER, the manufacturer behind the Royal Dutch cigars brand, has launched a single stick variant of its Panatella. Packed in outers of 20 at a retailers’ purchase price of £12.99 the firm says the new line offers profit on return (POR) of 22% if sold at the RRP of £1.
The company argues that single cigars can prove popular for cigar smokers who use convenience stores and who look for a single smoke on the way home or when they get home.
Ritmeester says that as the new single cigars are packed in outers of 20 they don’t tie up as much of retailers’ cash as competitor products that are packed in 50s.
The new single panatellas are available, says Ritmeester, through cash & carry depots and wholesalers .
And presentation tins designed to hold the newly available single cigars are available from Ritmeester local territory managers.
