Londis range smartens up


SYMBOL group wholesaler Londis says its range of value own-label products under the SmartBuy brand is exceeding all targets and over two thirds of Londis stores now stock the range. This autumn Londis announced that it would roll out four new products to Londis retailers.

John Pattison, Londis retail director said: “We promised Londis retailers that if they support SmartBuy, the collective scale their support creates, brings opportunity for range extensions and further financial investment.
“We’re living up to our promise, with a further four products being added to the range. These products will continue to drive lower price perceptions with their shoppers.”
The new product launches began with 1.5-litre milk for £1 to be followed by SmartBuy chocolate chip cookies, tea and washing-up liquid.
