Value lines crash through target

SIX weeks after launching at the Musgrave trade show, SmartBuy, the new value range from Londis, had exceeded its pre-order target by 41%.

Londis says retailers took advantage of pre-order offers and free POS materials to be used on gondola-end fixtures for the launch in store.
Simon Palmer, Londis operations director said the 28 launch lines had been so successful they would be joined by the end of the year by washing-up liquid, chocolate chip cookies and teabags.
