WHICH day sees British consumers most likely to buy lunch to go?

It’s Friday, says market research specialist HIM.
The company’s Food To Go study asked shoppers about their food-to-go wants and expectations and their shopping behaviour.
72% of respondents said when they bought lunch to go they were typically buying just for themselves. 20% said they bought lunch to go only for adults and 8% said they bought for kids.
Some 39% typically consume lunch to go at work, 31% eat their takeout lunch on the street, while 17% typically take their on-the-go lunch home.
