AFTER almost a quarter of a century as a traditional independent Glasgow housing estate store, the community shop in Ladymuir Crescent in the city’s Pollok district has started a new life as a Day-Today symbol outlet.

Brothers Usman and Adnan Arif run the shop with the help of younger brother Sobhan and their mum and dad.
After a refit carried out by SAS Shopfitters and comprehensive merchandising by the Day-Today retail development team, the store had its official open day just ahead of Christmas.
Business was already picking up as local residents and others from further afield responded to the new look and to leaflets that publicised Day-Today deals, Usman told Scottish Grocer.
Read the story of the refit in City shop is a small wonder – on page 48 of Scottish Grocer’s January copy.
