WHOLESALER Booker has now installed free EPOS systems into more than 1,000 retail units across the UK.
The system helps with practical tasks such as shelf-edge labels, price changes, stock levels and promotions. It can also produce reports to help retailers identify profitable lines, slow sellers and category sales and it handles aspects of ordering.
“Having an EPOS system is now an essential part of independent retailing,” said Steve Fox, Booker’s sales director – retail. “I’m delighted that 1000 retailers are now seeing the real benefits of using their EPOS system effectively.”
