RESTAURANT brand Nando’s, whose main product is its Peri-Peri Chicken, aims to appeal to stay-at-home lads with a new look for its crisps.
The range will now be called Nando’s Peri-Peri Grooves and will feature ridge-cut crisps.
They’re available in three flavours: Smokey BBQ, Spicy Chicken and Sizzling Hot.
And perhaps with sports events and other big-night-in blokes opportunities in mind, there’s a 150g pack for sharing as well as a 40g pack
Declan Lockett, marketing director at All About Food, which produces at-home products under licence for Nando’s, said: “Strong flavours and a memorable crunch are what male consumers are looking for when it comes to crisps, and this is the perfect brand to deliver both. The reformulation to a ridge cut also means Nando’s has improved the taste by locking in more flavour.”
