WINNER of Scottish Baker of the Year, Dunfermline-based Stephens the Bakers, has appointed Ewen Chisholm as sales director.
Chisholm, formerly chief operating officer of the David Sands chain of stores, which was sold to The Co-operative, will be responsible for all sales channels in the Stephens business.
The new sales boss also has experience in wholesaling, business development, market research, warehouse operations, supplier relationship management and brand development gathered in a career in which he has worked for C J Lang and Son, HIM, David Sands and The Co-operative Food.
Stephens has several of its own shops as well as relationships with many c-stores and retail chains including The Co-operative Food and Scotmid Co-operative.
