SCOTTISH jam producer, family-owned company R&W Scott, is tempting home bakers with a new range of premium sauces, designed to fill cakes, accompany desserts or be poured over ice-cream.
Available in Butterscotch, Caramel and Belgian Chocolate flavours, each sauce is packaged in a 275g pouch pack in R&W’s distinctive shade of purple. A clear window is designed to showcase the contents and help the package stand out on the shelf.
On-pack recipes – such as vanilla poached pears with butterscotch sauce, caramel banoffee pie, and chocolate profiteroles with fresh cream – are intended to illustrate the versatility of the sauces.
John Easton, R&W Scott managing director, said: “We’ve been working on the extension of our product lines into other categories. It has been a natural progression to develop an innovative branded sauces range to complement the success of our jam brand.
