2026 marks the 30th annual Scottish Grocer Awards as we bring together the very best that the Scottish convenience channel has to offer.
Highlighting the strength and resilience of the sector every year continues to be an eye-opening experience for all involved. Retailers always find new ways to raise the bar to overcome the challenges each year presents and it’s only right to reward those who have truly excelled in the field during the last 12 months.

Awards Ceremony
Each year, the Scottish Grocer Awards welcomes new winners and familiar faces together with representatives from the biggest brands and suppliers in the sector to celebrate the very best in convenience retailing.
The black tie awards ceremony, hosted at the Hilton Glasgow, brings together retailers from all corners of the nation, in a night of celebration for the shining stars of Scotland’s retail industry. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday 5 November 2025, where guests can expect a night of fantastic food, drink and entertainment.

Who organises the Scottish Grocer Awards?
The Scottish Grocer Awards are organised by Peebles Media Group, publishers of the Scottish Grocer and Convenience Retailer.
How do I enter the Scottish Grocer Awards?
Entries will open on the 2nd of April 2026. To enter or nominate someone, simply complete the online entry form. The form will ask you some basic questions related to the category (or categories) you are entering. You may enter up to three categories per venue.
What is the judging process for the Scottish Grocer Awards?
The Scottish Grocer team works together to shortlist all the entries into the awards to narrow it down to six stores per category. Scottish Grocer judges then go out to visit all shortlisted stores in each category to determine who has presented the strongest store. Judges then decide the winner for the category as well as two highly commended stores that have excelled in their field.
How much does it cost to enter the Scottish Grocer Awards?
It’s absolutely free! Anyone can enter the awards or be nominated with zero cost attached.
